Early weigh in

Tonight I surprised Lorraine and went to the center to weigh in since I won't make my meeting tomorrow night. It's nice to hear how other people are doing. I was sitting quietly until people were sharing their success and Kelly asked Lorraine to tell about me since she knows that talking about myself isn't easy for me. Strange for a teacher huh? lol
The thing is....by sharing my story tonight it recharged me because it reminded me of all the success I have had. I lost 3.4 pounds this week. WOW! For the last few weeks I've really been struggling. I tend to do that though. My Dad says it was worry this week. How well he knows me. I'm now 13 pounds from my goal weight. WOW! I NEVER EVER thought I'd be typing that! I've never focused on the end result. I'm thinking I should set a reward for myself though for making it. I'll have to give that some thought. Anyone have any good ideas?
Tomorrow Amy's c-section is scheduled for 6:30 a.m. But here it is 7:30 the night before and she still hasn't received a call on when to report to the hospital. I think we're all getting a little edgy. Maybe I'll go dye my hair so pics with my new granddaughter aren't showing all my gray hairs. hehehe
On a final note, little Cole lost his battle and joined the angels. Please say a prayer for his family. I'm sure they are devastated.
