Card for Cole

This card I made is for baby Cole Latch. His parents are Lacy and Shannon.

This is a Dustin Pike digital image I colored using my Copic markers. The purple paper and ribbon are both from Stampin' Up. The card is just a miscellaneous blank one I had as are the gems with Stickels on them. The stamp is from Stephanie Barnard and The Stamps of Life.
I'll be writing a message to Cole's parents inside and then mailing it out tomorrow.

Some pictures

I finally had time to dig out the camera and take a few pictures of some things I've done lately.
1st though, is hubby and Amy getting ready to go see the Steeler game. It's her 1st game ever and she was SO excited! She's hoping they see Hines Ward, her favorite player. She'd only agree to me posting the picture though if I wrote she's pregnant. LOL

Next is the SU camp I attended Friday night at Kim's. We made these altered notebooks and then 4 notecards(2 turned each way). I decided to gift my niece with them. I think she'll appreciate them. Made using all SU products.

Here's a few pictures of layouts I made when I went to the weekend crop.

The products I used were all from Tara of the Magpie Club.

She sends FABULOUS stuff each month. Check her out HERE.

This picture was taken a few days before I delivered Zach. I'm waiting to add the then picture since I'm getting closer to goal and want a pic of hubby and I then.

This one was Zach and his Scout friends on a trip to Niagara Falls.

And this layout I did using Debbie Mumm paper. It was one of my favorites that I did.
It was Zach when he was younger at Schramm's.

Cards

I've recently made a few cards. I'm so motivated by what I see others do so if this looks familiar...THANK YOU!

This is a Halloween card I've made. It uses all Stampin' Up materials.

This is another Halloween card I've made. I still have a few to make.
It's made with all Stampin' Up materials.

This one is for a special friend who will make Lifetime next week at Weight Watchers. I remember when she first started and I'm so proud of her. She's motivated me again because I want to be her standing there saying "I did it!" Way to go, Claudia!
This is a Gorjuss stamp and then misc materials I have in my stash.

"Toadally" Awesome

One thing in my life I've always known is what wonderful friends I have. I've had some of my best friends from high school. We still talk as often as we can (not as often as we might like) and do things together. I take easily to people. I'm socialable and love being surrounded with friends. A perfect day would be one spent with family and friends. I've been fortunate in my life to have many perfect days like that.

The reason I began this post with words of friendship is that it was very evident when my son's graduation party was coming around that I was swimming way above my head. Now by nature, I'm also a horrible procrastinator. Two of my best friends really stepped up to the plate to help me. So in my quest of crafting and card making, I decided to make them both cards. Now I can't show you one of them yet but the other one I will post now. Mind you, I'm just starting but this was created from the heart. My friend Carol made the cornhole and washers games that were enjoyed by all that day. From scratch. We've also enjoyed a few evenings of being able to play since the party so these are gifts that will last a very long time. I could never thank her enough. Stay tuned for the other card soon.

This card was made using a digital image from Digital Delights. It was a Friday Freebie when I got it. Colored using SU Waterpencils. The buttons, ribbon and cardstock were all misc. things I have in my stock. I also punched the corners of the yellow paper.

I wish you all "TOADALLY" AWESOME friends like I have :-)

Card Workshop

Yesterday I had the pleasure of going to my Stampin Up demonstrator's house (Deanna) for a few hours for a workshop she held to make birthday cards. I ended up being the only one there at that time since the other girls were going later due to scheduling conflicts.
Anyhow, I absolutely LOVED it and got to use so many of the SU products (which are all new to me) and to do some neat effects. All of the projects used SU materials.
THANKS Deanna!
