It ends on an UP

Ever have one of those days that you don't know why but you just feel like you are in funk? I could have just cried for no apparent reason today. Spent some time wallowing and just feeling frustrated by everything including lack of talent. Got some good advice on how to proceed in card making as a very new beginner. (Sure wish some of my friends would be stampers!)

Anyhow, then moving past that was on to Weight Watchers and weigh in. Stepping on the scale I even said to Winnie I really didn't want to do this. No particular reason I just wasn't feeling good about it. Boy was I surprised to see I lost 1.6. So here's where my day got even better. Last week I realized that I'd been with WW now for a year. I can honestly say that I NEVER EVER thought I'd be where I am now. I NEVER thought I'd be able to stick with this and actually lose. Well, now one year later I can say....125 pounds GONE on the nose and I CAN do this and I HAVE done it! It feels pretty dang good too! I can't tell you how excited I am when I go to the store and no longer need to go in the plus size section. I can now look in the regular sized clothes. Now for some this may not be a big deal but for someone who has lived in the plus sized world for over 18 years (or longer) it's a HUGE accomplishment. So tonight I celebrate the fact that I have made so many positive changes in my life. Has it been easy? Heck no. But ask anyone who has come to know me in the past year......I AM determined and I WILL lose this weight. It's not about the number, it's all about the attitude. Having my friends Debi and Donna come back to meetings tonight of all nights was a great thing. So no more ignoring me Ms. Debi...we're on this journey in good times and bad. It's one heck of a ride! Now to find Steve again!! LOL On a final note, my biggest gratitude and appreciation go out to Judi. Without her starting me on this journey and watching her success each week, I know I'd have never done this. She's been an awesome inspiration and an even better friend. Love ya girl! THANK YOU!
