I have to work tomorrow and have gotten so used to staying up extremely late that I'm going to be dragging tomorrow since I should be in bed.
Just as I was about to go to bed our phone rang. You know it can't be good news when it rings at 12:39. It was my Mother in law. Her youngest brother Billy passed away. He'd been diagnosed with cancer which had recently spread to his brain. He was in his early 60's. The last 2 months have been very difficult for him and although it's hard to think we won't see his smile or him trying to get a joke over on us, we know we didn't want him to suffer on this Earth anymore. Hopefully now he will be at peace. Please pray for his wife Marianne and his son Sean. He and Marianne have only been married for a few years but knew true happiness and love with one another. Looking at them you could just see it.
So many things, so many scrambled thoughts. Lost 1 pound this past week but that seems to just not be important right now. Comforting our loved ones is.
