Today was one of those days that's almost perfect! (OK, going to the dentist doesn't count but even that I got to see the super Stef) When I got home, Amy, Emma and I went and picked up Kayla along with Carol, Allison and Nikki, and we all headed to Twin Lakes for the annual festival. Check it out here. It's one of my favorite summer activities and to have spent it with Amy, Kayla and of course, Emma, who had all not gone before, was wonderful. Usually that type of thing isn't for Amy and she really enjoyed it. The weather was about perfect. Warm in the sun but a nice breeze blowing to keep it from being unbearable.
Then this evening as Amy went swimming I held Emma in my arms on the deck as she was swimming. She fell asleep in my arms and we all had some excellent relaxing time. Just a wonderful day.

I'm so glad that you are having a wonderful summer. My girls and I are filling the days with lots of fun and staying busy. This weekend they are going to Grandma's & Grandpa's and I get a whole two days with just me and my Hubby. I can't tell you when that happened last!
