Back in the Saddle

This morning I wrote very large in my tracking journal....ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!  I've had so many foods recently which I haven't counted the points (probably because I knew they'd be immense) and just keep eating and eating.  Then I step on the scale this morning and it was NOT kind.  As Kim defined it for me....I was on a "cake walk" for the last week.  Between hubby's birthday, then Emma, then my Dad, then my brother in law, and then Emma's big party. Every time I've had cake...at the minimum.
So today it's back in the saddle.  Time to get serious again and ONLY eat those things I know I can account for and WILL account for.  Staying in my point total and trying to get some exercise in my schedule also.  I have to get get back on track.  I don't like how my clothes are already fitting and I will NOT continue to slip in the wrong direction.  I've worked way too hard for that.
So if you have a good, easy recipe I can take to a Superbowl party that is WW friendly, please share.

Good for you, Denise! I have an easy recipe for a cake -- of all things. Just take an angel food cake mix and stir in a can of crushed pineapple (don't add the other things). Pour into a 9 x 13 baking dish and bake at 350 for 30 to 40 minutes until it is golden brown. Let cool. Top with an 8-ounce container of Cool Whip. You can add coconut, chopped nuts or maraschino cherries, too. Have fun!

Thanks, Kim! I've actually had that cake before too and it's very good. I think I WILL do that. Thanks for the super reminder.
